Cans for Good

On Sunday, November 4th, PHBC's Youth Ministry turned trick-or-treat into an opportunity to bless those less fortunate.  Teens went out to their neighborhoods collecting non-perishable food items.  The food items were counted, sorted and then donated to the PHBC Food Pantry and  local food pantries.  This annual food drive has provided for many local families in need.  We were able to collect over 1200 non-perishable food items!

Community Thanksgiving Meal

Over 300 people from our church family helped to put on a meal for the people of our community last Thursday night. That number includes those who baked pies, parked cars, greeted guests at the door, cooked the food, served the meal, and those who ate at the table with the guests. Thank you for your response to serve others in Jesus' name. Over 250 people from outside of our church came to have a Thanksgiving meal served to them in an atmosphere where the love of God was permeating every square inch of the entire PHBC campus. It was a very successful and productive outreach. Many bridges of friendship were built that will have lasting impact as we continue to reach out to our mission field.
