Pinewood Derby

On March 17 over 60 boys and girls and their families watched while their pinewood derby cars raced down the track. There were many fast cars that raced that night, separated only by fractions of a second. The top four places for each age group for Pioneer Girls and Stockade were recognized with great trophies. The top designers for each group were also recognized with a special award. All racers received a ribbon for their participation. At the end of the night the top boy racer faced off against the top girl racer and the girls won! The top place finishers will be racing in a regional race at the Chapel in Akron. Let's Go PHBC boys! Thanks to our crew who set up the track, checked in the cars, helped fix the breakdowns, raced the cars, judged the finishes and selected the top designs. Without all of you the night would not have been possible.
